NIFTI Wins National Defence Innovation Award

We’re proud to announce that NIFTI, a Non-Intrusive Flight Test Instrumentation system developed by Defence Innovations, has been awarded the National Defence Innovation Award, the premier award at the Australian International Airshow.

This Australian designed and developed system, which allows for rapid implementation of wireless flight test systems on aircraft, is a world first. Comprising of a customisable on-board Gateway control module, a range of wireless sensors that adhere to the exterior surfaces of aircraft, a dedicated sensor charger unit and a custom developed iPad Mini App, the system has been designed from the ground up to set a global standard for user experience, quality and failsafe data collection.
